Safelists, etc...

I've gone off on a tangent, but I learned a lot in the proccess. In order to get referrals for Peoplestring, I did some searching and came across a Matrix Team BuilderReality-Networkers. I thought this would help recruit, but I'm not enthralled with their program. It was part of the learning proccess, and I picked up some things there, but on that site, it costs $25 to join after a 14 day trial period, and you're expected to get 5 referrals on top of that, even though they provide as much of the rest of the downline as you need. I don't think it's worth the $25, so I'm going to take as much as the site has to offer during the trial period. They provide a large list of Safelinks, and I learned of other things there that will help in this endeavour. I never realized how involved the whole internet money-making thing is, what with safelists, traffic-exchanges, matrices, and all.
What I'm doing is filling out the list of safelists as I join, and giving a summary of my experience with each. One thing I've discovered is navigation buttons on a lot of them don't take you to another page on the site, but to another site altogether. It can get quite confusing quickly if one is signing on to different sites at the same time.

My Downline Club Post 1

Mydownlineclub is my latest foray into the fray. I have discovered that what I am doing requires I get 'downlines'- people to follow me- for all the sites I'm signing on to. It's a way of marketing without having to do the old-fasioned smooze. No chumming up to people to get them to buy your product, just good new-fasioned typing and clicking. I'm learning, but it's old dog, new tricks.
What I've discovered is my original idea of signing on to something, trying it for a week and rating it based on how well I did is impractical. All of the sites I've tried take much more work than I can do in a week.
I'm now trying My Downline Club to drum up recruits to my endeavours. Here are just some of the things they give you:
Splash Page 1:
Splash Page 2:
Splash Page 3:
All Programs URL:
So, I have yet to rate a site, but I'm working on it. At this point, the only thing that's done me any good so far is Peoplestring. But this doesn't mean the others don't have their merits... I just as yet have not found them. Will have rating system in place by this time next week, some sort of chart to make comparisons easy. Until then, feel free to offer suggestions, comments, insults, praise, whatever you deem appropriate.

Bidvertiser.com Post 1

I've started today to use bidvertiser.com. That would be the text ads you see to the right, plus of course the button. Until I change them, that is. So far, all I've managed to do is put up ads from three different places, but as I go along, I'll be constantly changing advertising to the most lucrative. I'm not going to go haywire with ads, that's not the purpose of this blog.
In keeping with the purpose of this blog, I've done some research into the websites I am evaluating, and I opened up a whole new can of worms. I don't know how relevant these numbers are to the potential of these sites to make someone (me, in this instance) money, but they are interesting, if for no other reason than to point out how hard it is to rate something objectively. Here is what I found using just urlworth.com- Helping webmasters understand their website value worth and domain value worth! Improve your pagerank and site traffic to beat your competition and make more money online! and websiteoutlook.com- Websiteoutlook is the perfect place to evaluate any website. Websiteoutlook is dedicated to finding all pertinent information that may pertain to your personal interest.
The biggest complaint I have is 'all pertinent information that may pertain to your personal interest' means the same as 'all information that pertains to your interests'.
I just don't like sloppy writing, unless it's by me.
So, here is all pertinent information that may pertain to our personal interest.

Of bidvertiser, urlworth says:

You see, I'm sure, the discrepency here. $0 Value to $933,188.2? 0 Daily Pageviews to 425,367? $0 Daily Ads Revenue to $1,278.34? Seems I'll have to start reviewing the website value websites next! Urlworth has a lot more information concerning IP address, ownership, start date, etc. if you're interested in that stuff.

Blackgrape Post 1

Blackgrape is my newest venture. Again, the link provided is for my 'store', so clicking and buying will make me money, thank you. You did say that it tastes great and makes you feel like a new person, right?  Anyways, this is an offer from peoplestring, and is being evaluated. I haven't tried this stuff, can't vouch for it, just gonna sit back and see if anyone orders some, and see what they say. Other that that, I'll have to wait to see what the 'store' does. At least it was free.

Peoplestring Post 1

Peoplestring is the next of my attempts to make money on a free site. Again, for your edification, the link provided is my personal refer a friend link. If you click on it and join, I make $.50. Thank you.
I made 3 cents by joining up, then did this:
  • Complete your First Survey
  • Then you will receive a card in the mail to verify your address and you earn your first $1.50
  • Once we confirm your address the Mailbox Cash will start flowing.
    Earn Some Quick Cash
So, once my address is confirmed, I'll have a whopping $1.53!
I recieved an email account, which I plan to use as long as it takes to get to the nitty-gritty of this thing and find out what the potential is. They also offer IM, which is at this point no interest to me, I barely have time to do what I want on the computer as it is, I don't need more distractions. One of their other offers is:
Step 1: Earn People Dollars from our Partners
Step 2: Turn Them into Cash at Peoplestring.com
Step 3: 100 People Dollars = $1.00
I just started on this, so I plan to do more investigating before any more posts on this. I invite all to try this out and comment; on the site, on this blog, on anything relevant to this or any other post.

Hellohello.net Post 1

Hellohello.net is my first choice to investigate. This link takes you to the page "You are referred by : darryllicht", which is my username there, just so you are aware that if you decide to sign on, it will be thru me and I'm not hiding anything. I already wrote two posts about this site, but I decided to delete them as I didn't have a good handle on the site or how to structure this blog and my investigations. Since every offer or site I visit is going to be different, I'll have to treat them so. This site is going to require some time to figure out, so I'll take some time and post the results. If you decide to sign on, please comment on your experience; I will report any money making oppurtunities in future posts.

A Guide to this Blog, What It Is, and How to Use

What I plan to do at the beginning is rate free sites or come-ons to experiment with their money-making potential, and to see if they even come close to their promises. I'm focusing on free offers since I'm starting out cash-strapped, and there are so many out there. As I continue on, I'll add any offer, starting with the most outrageous, as funds allow.
I'm starting out with virtually no MLM and little internet marketing or sales experience, and little to average technical ability, which I think is a good thing. Most of these offers claim no special ability needed, and if it's too hard for me to comprehend or do, it will be too hard for the average user. I'm going to spend an average of an hour a day at least for a week to try out each site or offer at the start. This is subject to change as I continue, especially with offers that claim more or less time needed. Eventually I will have in place a rating system that gives weight to such factors as ease of use, time spent, money spent, money made... I'll have to see as my experience will guide me in what is most important and how to set up such a system. The whole thing will become more refined and useable as I get better at blogging, finding and trying different schemes, and implementing suggestions from users of this blog.
